The picture says it all, there was definatly a change in the standings, I'm sure you have already looked and seen the new standings. We saw BPT's first royal fulsh to take Mike out and leave the door open for Kyle to pass him by in the standings. But more importantly Erv's brief rein at the top came to an end by my personal favorite player (me), and Andrew (the Vegas favorite) slipped into third. But don't tune out yet there are 6 nights left and anything can happen.

It was a packed house and Joe tied his all time record for going out in the first hand within the first 2 minutes and 30 seconds of the 3rd game. But the bigger news is Erv has taken the leed! Will the self proclaimed elevator get back up only time will tell.

When you get quads your having a good night, and that is exactly what I did winning 2 of 3 games. Joe had a perverbial repeat of the last BPT night finishing last in the second and thrid games, just not as quick. Erv held on to second place, but we did close the gap between Helen (that's right Helen).

It was a Cheech home game and he took home the most points but in a close second making a nice effort was Suess making a return to the BPT. But my favorite part of the night was Full Houses kicking Helen's Ass ;-)

Cheech was back in action owning the night stealing the pot when ever he could. And little miss Helen was kept dormat after trying to take the pot away from Cheech.
And my faith in pocket rockets has been restored, just ask Helen...

Guess who had a good night again and increasing his ever growing lead, but we are not half way through the season and a lot can change. Volcano's don't burn forever!
Full houses beware because the quads are out to get you, at least that's the lesson I learned seeing qauds take my hand down. But I can't complain to much, at least I'm back in second on the board tied with Erv thanks to his less than optimum night.

I may be back in second due to an absence, but you probably guessed from the picture the night belonged to Helen (what an ash-hole). His activity level was up and so is his lead.

It seems like forever and a day that we played. And as you might see from the chart my night did not go well. But Hey... I have had worse.

First night at the newest BPT venue, The Hesterberg house didn't disappoint with quads showing up again, that makes 3 times this year. And another person graduates to become a "Regular", Joe has now jumped into fourth with nothing less than first place in sight. Andrew was the big point winner of the night, but that didn't stop me from playing my part of the tortoise and slowly got some points to hang on first place.

Another night down! The winner of the night was yours truly making it back on top in the BPT, but Joe is quickly making his way up to battle for the top position. But lets not forget about rockets having a hard time winning most of the night including a BPT first, with Ethan going out in the second hand.

If this looks all to familiar your night might have went like mine. It was a full house and Joe owned the night moving from the bottom 3 to the top 5 on board! My time at the top as ended with Andrew leaping over Erv and myself. I didn't do as good as I would have liked and surprisingly hung on to 2nd. How did you do, did you hold back or over take your nemesis?

What a night! Quads showed up a couple of times, Aces actually won (mostly against Mark), and Queens didn't kick my ass. The standings stayed pretty much the same except for Mackezie jumping 4 places.

What does everyone think about how the points are calculated? Erv thought it might be good to split the points for the top two player based on the difference in chip counts.
For example: Game 3 on 1/4/2008 finished
Mark (4/2) - 15 Points (5 * 3)
Brophy (2/4) - 12 Points (4 * 3)
Tim - 9 Points
Ethan - 2 Points
Mackenzie - 1 Points
Andrew - 0 Points
And with points based on chip counts...
Mark (4/2) - 14 Points (12 + 3*4/6)
Brophy (2/4) - 13 Points (12 + 3*2/6)
Tim - 9 Points
Ethan - 2 Points
Mackenzie - 1 Points
Andrew - 0 Points

And of course any changes the point formula would be voted on.
